4 days in Normandy. Too much driving but good to arrive last Thursday.

Spent a day in the studio, listened to the radio and got out some old French bottles we found in the house years ago. I made drawings, then took some photographs. The light in the studio emphasised the colours and shine (although I didn’t dust them, still cobwebs if you look!)

Think I’m going to work on some collage pieces using the bottles, they gave me a sense of the history of the house and this area of Normandy.
