I haven’t posted anything for a while, I’ve been busy with animal portrait commissions.

This is Alfie above, finished another set of drawings of a lovely boy ( Maltese-Sitz zu x) called Robbie. Also working on 2 Dachshund paintings. I will add them to the Animal Portraits page soon!

Harry’s portrait (left) leaves my shop window today, his owner’s coming to take him home – I had a great time painting this handsome boy!

Next commissions include a Dachshund, a Maltese/ Shih Tzu x and a black cat….

The Old High Street was packed with people for the big Christmas lights switch on by Louis de Bernières. I sold 2 paintings – It was a great evening!

 

It’s summer 2015 – it’s been a long time since I added anything!

So here’s a page from my sketchbook. I found the shoe on the beach while Flo and I were having  our morning walk.

School display: I was given shortlisted student entries for the Mayors Award for Writing, to display in the foyer. To liven things up I read the stories and then created a pen illustration for each one.

We’re moving off to Folkestone at the end of the summer, so the blog may go a little quiet for a while (because of moving house and renovation work). Planning to get back to it by the autumn with fresh ideas and tales of the sea!
